Missy knott

She has created “Stars of Tomorrow”, a showcase for youth artists and co-founded Randy Rock N Rolls for CF, an organization that has raised over $40,000 for Cystic Fibrosis. She co-founded and helped to coordinate the Gathering for Youth of Nogojiwanong, an educational gathering for elementary students giving them an opportunity to learn about Indigenous cultures and engage in different arts, and she travels across Turtle Island and Europe to record, perform, and network with other Indigenous recording artists and community leaders. Missy is always focused on finding ways to share her contacts and skills with her community in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough and Curve Lake First Nation. A proud mother of four year old Lyrik, an aunt to three young nephews, and a sister to seven siblings, Missy is keeping busy this holiday season with promise of a new release in 2020, the first off the new label, "Wild Rice Records".
